Steading Cottage

Welcome to The Steading Cottage at Kirkmabreck which has been worked by our family for four generations, almost 100 years.

Overlooking beautiful Wigtown Bay with panoramic views over the “Machars” and out to the Irish Sea and the Isle of Man, Steading Cottage sleeps 5 comfortably and has a log burning stove and oil central heating.

Working Farm & Wildlife

Kirkmabreck is not only home to the cattle and sheep we breed but we are fortunate to be able to see much of Scotland’s wildlife just by looking out the window.

The area is a bird-watching paradise with Red Kite, Buzzards, Peregrin Falcons and Osprey.

There are also a few other introductions we need to make - Welshie, Maisie, Bob, Flik and Hamish!
